Palm Oil Free Range

Rich in pure Australian ingredients, our Palm Oil Free range uses a decades-old recipe to create a rich, creamy, gentle natural soap bar with a long-lasting lather.  Our team takes pride in making natural soap bars, particularly our Palm Oil Free Soaps in Brisbane that are wholesome and unique - and you can feel the difference!

The base ingredients for our Palm Oil Free Range are…

Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)

Coconut oil is extracted from the fresh meat of mature coconuts which are milled and pressed to extract the oil. This amazing oil can help reduce inflammation, keep skin moisturised and help heal wounds. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil possess antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne and protect the skin from harmful bacteria. Coconut oil absorbs right into the hair shaft and strengthens it by preventing protein loss, promoting healthier, stronger hair.

Olive Oil (Olea europaea)

Our Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil is grown and pressed here in Australia, and it has a very high concentration of squalene which is what gives olive oil the extra antioxidant boost. If you're prone to acne, using a natural soap bar made with olive oil may help decrease your acne by killing off the bacteria that cause the acne. Olive Oil can protect and hydrate even the most sensitive skin and helps to repair damaged skin tissue.

Rice Bran Oil (Oryza sativa) Our cold-pressed Rice Bran Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, trace elements, vitamin E and mineral salts, helping to moisturise the skin and promote skin microcirculation. Made from the rice husk (the bran), this oil retains the vast majority of the active compounds and benefits of brown rice. It penetrates the skin without leaving a greasy residue.

Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)

Shea Butter works as an emollient that softens and hydrates the skin and can reduce skin swelling. Because it contains several types of fatty acids - including lineoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids, that improve the skin's natural barrier, shea butter protects the skin from pollutants.

Sunflower Oil (Helianthus Annus)Rich in beta-carotene, Sunflower Oil helps reduce the signs of aging. Used by the Native American tribes to help soothe snakebites and to condition the skin and hair, the vitamin E in Sunflower Oil has antioxidants that help with premature aging and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking young and fresh. Sunflower Oil also contains linoleic acid, which helps to maintain the skin's natural barrier, supporting its ability to retain moisture.

Lye (Sodium Hydroxide)

What is Lye? Natural bar soap is made through a process known as saponification (sapo is Latin for soap). Through the magic of chemistry, Lye, which is an alkaline solution of sodium hydroxide and water, is added to the vegetable oils and then stirred to saponify. During saponification the chemical reaction breaks down the fats and oils into fatty acid chains and the lye mixture is completely neutralized in this process, creating our gorgeous gentle moisturising natural soap bars, including our exceptional Palm Oil Free Soaps available in Brisbane.

Water

Filtered rainwater is collected solely from our own property in the ranges west of Brisbane, Queensland.  We have an extensive network of rainwater collection points to ensure we have a continuous supply of this precious resource, and we don’t send any waste water into the stormwater system.

To this gorgeous combination of ingredients, we add the extra ingredients that make each natural soap bar unique.. nourishing botanicals, essential and fragrant oils, clays, honey, oatmeal or goat’s milk. This attention to detail extends to our Palm Oil Free Soaps in Brisbane, ensuring a truly exceptional product.
